The Ameo Sports GmbH is a company from Tutzing near Munich, which has brought a novel variant of the snorkel on the market. The Ameo Powerbreather offers maximum comfort. This benefits snorkelers, but this well-engineered solution is also ideal for swimming training. The ergonomically optimized breathing apparatus was developed by Mathias Weigner, himself a passionate swimmer. The special feature of the patented technology is the separation of air supply and discharge.

Better breathing air and ergonomic design

The snorkel has two tubes that rest on the left and right of the head. This technology avoids the danger of pendulum breathing, which occurs in conventional snorkeling that exhaled carbon dioxide remains in the tube and is inhaled again. The quality of the breathing air is better with the Ameo snorkel. When water gets into the pipe, it simply drains off due to the special valve technology and does not need to be blown out. The mouthpiece is flexible and very precise. You can set different breathing resistances for a more intensive training. The Powerbreather can be securely attached to the head and sits without having to follow suit.
