The benefits for swimmers and triathletes

The AMEO Powerbreather can be used in swimming, snorkeling and freediving. Swimmers can use the revolutionary system to specifically design their technique

increased.

So you can concentrate perfectly on the right propulsion and save valuable training seconds. For professional swimmers there is also the special LAP Edition, which does not pose a problem with even quick turnarounds in the pool. In addition, you can set new training incentives through various resistance to breathing and thus increase the endurance performance step by step. Through different membranes, the resistance and the volume of air can be regulated during inhalation and thus adapted to your own fitness level.

Benefits for snorkelers and freedivers

Especially when snorkeling in attractive areas you can quickly forget the time. But unfortunately, one also forgets that the air with each breath through the conventional Schnochel is more enriched with CO2 - and this is reflected not only in the stamina, but can also easily cause headaches.

On the other hand, with the AMEO Powerbreather you will be constantly supplied with fresh, clean air - no chance for pendulum breathing! So you can safely and effortlessly longer distances return.

Another advantage is the ease of use, because it eliminates the power-consuming blow-out, if sometimes fluid enters the snorkel. Instead, the fluids just flow with them
the exhaled air down together, all without you having to do anything about it. And last but not least, the innovative valve technology protects against the ingress of water during the process Diving.

No chance for pendulum breathing

Those who often and long distances in the water behind, knows the dangers of pendulum breathing in conventional snorkeling. The air flows through the same tube during inhalation and exhalation, which ensures that you breathe in the exhaled air containing CO2 again and again. And that can even be dangerous in exertion or long snorkeling swimming tours, because the pendulum breathing can lead to convulsions, loss of performance or even dizziness in the worst case.

The risk of pendulum breathing is completely eliminated with the AMEO Powerbreather. Through the D-Tubes fresh and clean air gets in at any time, while the CO2-containing air is discharged directly downwards when exhaling.

Start training at any time

Whether you're a competitive swimmer or just starting out, the AMEO Powerbreather will keep you fresh and fresh at all times, allowing you to focus on training. Especially with crawl swimming, it becomes particularly clear why the AMEO Powerbreather makes so much sense: instead of losing valuable strength and time through the lateral rotation to breathe, you can concentrate fully on the propulsion.

Also, your stamina is gradually increased by the AMEO Powerbreather - and can be trained through the different membranes. You get fitter, faster and consistently achieve higher performance.

AMEO Powerbreather - difference to the normal snorkel with tips & tricks for the first use

If you inhale, you may initially experience a slight resistance from the membrane of the AMEO FRESH AIR SYSTEM. These protect the POWERBREATHER against ingress of water and already during the "normal" swim provide an additional, positive training stimulus in the area of the respiratory muscles. Please read the operating instructions before using the POWERBREATHER!

1. Note the slow approach to the new device: first standing in the water, put your head into the water and breathe in and out through the POWERBREATHER for some time. Then start with slow swimming. Increase the tempo according to the habituation to the slight resistance of the membrane (usually occurs after a few laps of relaxed swimming). Take regular breaks during the habituation phase.
2. Inhalation and exhalation predominantly via the mouth, while swimming can also be alternately exhaled through the nose.
3. Do not roll over until after the acclimation phase. Please note the explicit instructions in the manual as well as in the FAQs. Decisive for dry roll turns - i. after surfacing, the D-Tubes are always free of water - is that a. breathe in enough air before the turnaround and b. the greater part of the inhaled air only in prone position - not in a lateral position - exhales through the mouth loosely.

The included roll-turning caps make it easier to start the roll turn with the POWERBREATHER. Essential, however, is the correct inhalation and exhalation during the turnaround
